Noooooo! I was so slow. Very slow. I had to go back and look at my post on C25K to see if I mentioned a time. I only mentioned that I ran 31 minutes, but, that I was nowhere near a 5K. I worried so much when I first started running about my slowness! My speed is coming in bits and spurts! I’ll go a long time of running at a certain pace…then, suddenly, it will seem that I can do more, that I can do better…and then I do…and so on and so forth. My very best 5K time was my last run on the treadmill. It was 25:04mins. CRAZY, huh?!? I think the speed is coming with consistent running and longer runs. I also work on my speed at least once a week. Don’t worry about your speed…it is just fine. It takes awhile, but, it will come. Be patient!
You have no idea how exciting it is to have someone IMPRESSED with my speed! Those first days of running…I was running a 15 minute/mile pace!

26:05! Wow! I’m majorly impressed! Were you one of those runner who actually ran 5K in 30 minutes after the C25K program?
I’m still trying to consistently get below 34:00 (for the 5K).
Congrats!
